You just want to be sure that you're within the weight capacities of your vehicle before you start doing that. Having a two inch hitch receiver on the back of your Mustang is gonna be one of the best options that you can have when you're trying to haul different accessories. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Ford F-150- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the CURT class IV trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Ford F-150. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your truck and this is a pretty well hidden cross tube. You can see a little bit of the hitch hanging down, but overall it hides behind the bumper leaving the only thing visible, the receiver tube opening, the safety chain loops. Now this receiver is a two inch by two inch, which is great. There's gonna be tons of accessories whether you're picking a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. And all of those are gonna stay in place with the 5/8 pin and clip. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Ford F-150. From the factory, not all F1-150s come with a factory hitch, and if you don't wanna plan on putting a bumper tow, you can pick up a hitch here, and that way you can load up your accessories and still tow. And this one is a nice, clean look. We have a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and for the most part our cross tube is pretty hidden. So really all that you're gonna see is the receiver opening underneath the bumper. Now when loading up your accessories, you're gonna need a five eighths pin and clip as it does not come with the hitch. more

Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2023 Ford F-150- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Class 5 Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch on a 2023 Ford F-150. Now, if you don't have a hitch on your F-150 or you want to get a little bit more capacity out of the existing hitch you have, installing this is gonna do it. This is a class five, meaning it's super heavy duty. Now, being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening means that you're gonna have tons of options when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or in this case, a ball mount, because this is really a heavy duty towing hitch. You can load up all your accessories all the same with a 5/8 pin clip, which is not included with the hitch, but a lot of times your accessories will come with one, and so this is gonna keep all of those in place. Now if you plan on having accessories loaded up and keeping them on the back of your truck, you might wanna look at a locking pin and clip. more

Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Ford F-150- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Ford F-150 that we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class V two-inch hitch receiver. Now if your F-150 does not come with a hitch receiver from the factory, this is gonna be a huge benefit, because typically the only option you'll have other than adding a hitch receiver to your truck is to put a ball in the bumper itself. And with that you kind of have to pick a size. The other thing is, if you've never towed with a ball on the bumper of a truck, it's really, really annoying because you don't have any ability to have any drop or rise to tow your trailer correctly. In addition to that, you're not gonna be able to use any accessories towing with the bumper, but this hitch is gonna allow you to have room for accessories like a bike rack or a cargo carrier, or specifically with this one, it's going to have a very, very high towing capacity so you can tow those trailers. more

First up being you can pick up a ball mount, put it in here and pull small trailers with it. But if you're gonna do that, you may already have the four pole factory prep package under here that'll allow you to pull trailers without brakes. If you decide to pull a trailer with brakes, you'll want to add a seven pole on there. more

Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your transit, and it's an exposed cross tube, which means you can see a good majority of the hitch, but honestly, on something like this, you're probably not too worried about the aesthetics, and this one is actually a really good option, because it is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Which is gonna be great, you're gonna have a ton of different options when it comes to accessories, so whether you're putting a ball mount, a bike rack, or cargo carrier on your hitch, you'll be able to pick from a bunch of them. Now all of them are gonna stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip. Now this is not included with the hitch, a lotta times when you pick accessories, they're gonna come with those pin and clips. But if you wanna pick up a separate one, or if you have some used products that you need a pin and clip for, we have plenty of versions of locking ones here at ETrailer, which is really nice, especially if you plan on keeping your accessories on at all time. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Ford Focus- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at installing the CURT Class 1 trailer hitch receiver on a 2017 Ford Focus. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Focus, and the great part is, it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're visibly gonna be able to see from the outside of the vehicle is gonna be the receiver. And so you get all the use of a hitch without having anything gaudy hanging down underneath the vehicle. Now this is a Class 1, meaning it's gonna be an inch and a quarter inch receiver tube opening, so you're a little bit limited when it comes to ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers. I have one of these on my vehicle because that's all that was available, but there are definitely bike racks out there and cargo carriers that will work with this. Either way, you're adding a lot of usability to your vehicle, and all of your accessories, no matter what they are, will be loaded up and held in place with a half-inch pin and clip. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Eco Hitch trailer hitch receiver on a 2016 Ford Fusion. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Fusion, and the great part is this is a hidden cross-tube, so all that you're gonna see is the two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening, and even the safety chain loops are nice and tidy here, so it gives it a pretty clean look while still being able to use a two-inch by two-inch, which is kind of the standard size for hitches. So when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or even ball mounts, you're gonna have tons of options to be able to load up on your Fusion. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8th pin and clip, and this is not included with the hitch. A lot of times, when you pick up accessories, they'll have one included, so something to look for if you're also choosing accessories. And if you want a locking pin and clip, those are really nice, too, if you plan on leaving your accessories on the vehicle, that way you can lock it in place and no one can just walk away with whatever you have loaded up. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2018 Ford F150. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it's a nice clean fit. In fact, it doesn't stick out any more past the bumper so I really like the look that it gives you and you have a nice matte black powder coat finish. The cross tube is pretty well hidden under here as well, so really all you see is the receiver tube opening. And this one being a two inch by two inch means that you're gonna have tons of accessories to load up. So whether you're putting a bike rack, a cargo carrier or a ball mount, and this is all gonna be a great option you'll have plenty of options to pick from with that two inch by two inch. more

The biggest difference right off the bat that you're gonna notice between this hitch and the hitch that came on this truck is that it's gonna have two hitch receivers. The hitch that came on this truck had a three-inch hitch receiver, but the owner of this vehicle has an in-bed camper.
